GUC Created a Family-Friendly Workplace and Received Outstanding Certification from Hsinchu City Government

GUC has equipped a well-facilitated breastfeeding room that ensures safety and privacy for postpartum employees to balance parenting, family, and work. GUC received the Outstanding Certification for Breastfeeding Rooms from the Hsinchu City Health Bureau on August 7th.
The breastfeeding room at GUC is designed to meet the needs of mothers. In addition to basic cleaning facilities, it provides a dedicated breast milk refrigerator and a sterilizer, offering additional environmental and equipment support for breastfeeding mothers. For safety and privacy, the room is equipped with emergency call devices and door locks, ensuring that mothers can use the space with peace of mind, free from disturbances and with immediate help available in case of an emergency.
A postpartum employee recently returning to work expressed her recognition for this comfortable, stress-free and well-equipped breastfeeding room. Beyond the breastfeeding room, GUC supports mothers with comprehensive prenatal and breastfeeding knowledge. GUC regularly arranges individual consultations with onsite doctors for employees who are pregnant or have recently given birth and provides educational brochures, magazines, and related books for borrowing. This initiative helps employees gain a better understanding of pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting, aiming to create a secure and needs-oriented space to achieve a family-friendly workplace environment.
