TCSA Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Award comprehensively evaluates corporate sustainability and ESG performance, aligning with international selection methodologies and various global standards and evaluation criteria. After a rigorous review by over a thousand expert judges, GUC was honored with two prestigious awards in 2024: the "Top 100 Sustainable Model Enterprises in Taiwan" and the "Gold Award for Sustainability Report." These accolades affirm our outstanding achievements in corporate sustainability and are a recognition of our efforts.

GUC has consistently been proactive in implementing sustainability initiatives, staying current with global trends, and adhering to government regulations while continuously enhancing its sustainability-related operations. This year, we successfully obtained the "SBTi Science-Based Target for Carbon Reduction" and took significant steps, such as replacing energy-intensive equipment, and increasing the use of renewable energy, which effectively contributed to energy conservation and carbon reduction. In addition, we conducted human rights due diligence, tracking human rights risks annually and promoting a friendly workplace to improve employee health management. Our efforts have also been recognized with outstanding results, maintaining our position in the top 5% of Corporate Governance Evaluations. Our Chairman, Dr. F.C. Tseng, ranked 5th in the "Harvard Business Review Taiwan Top 100 Business Leaders" list this year.
